A special mention to the Hawks very own Jack Baird, who has excelled this round for the Gold Coast District Cricket Club. The Hawks' Junior notched up 54 runs from 104 balls before backing it up with 14 overs 5/39 in the Bob Spence Shield against Western Suburbs. Jack highlights the pathway from Hawks junior cricket to senior cricket and then on to grade cricket for the Gold Coast Dolphins. Superb all round effort Jack!

On Sunday 22nd January we will be holding our annual President's Day, including Sponsors' Luncheon and 2x T20 Exhibition matches.
From 9:30am you will see the President's XI take on the Sponsors' XI, followed by the Treasurer's XI vs the Secretary's XI in the afternoon.
It is a great day to get down to the club and get involved. Free entry, Bar open, BBQ lunch, Music and Mini cricket for the kids during the lunch break.

The Helensvale Pacific Pines Cricket Club has been named to host the 2017 Junior T20 Blast again straight after the Big Bash competition. This has always proved popular the Hawks are one of the best clubs on the Gold Coast when it comes to running them.
This is a super fun social cricket program for boys and girls. These are T20 (think big bash!) game based sessions with music in the background.
These cricket games are for Juniors that have been playing Milo for a couple of seasons and/or is a little more advanced than the Milo In2Cricket program.

This year the Hawks are doing something different for of Christmas Party with our major sponsor Club Helensvale by playing Barefoot Bowls.
It should be a great afternoon session that everyone can enjoy, Juniors ** and Seniors are welcome.
Club Helensvale has been voted best bowls club and we are lucky to have it close to us! Great food is available in their restaurant and cafe and their drink prices are the from the 1980s. We are expecting great weather and a fun afternoon for everyone to enjoy a couple of hours of bowls.

Get down and support out 1st graders as they compete in a T20 double header at Hession on Sunday the 20th of November.
First game is against Palm Beach starting at 10am, with Queens straight after at 1:30pm.
They are having a great season so far, so lets get down there and support our first XI. Based on last years turn out, we are expecting a huge turn out from the opposition team and also the Hawks. But we need more Hawks to cheer on our boys and get them the wins!

This is always a great night down at the cricket club house with fun questions and great prizes to be won on the night. We are kicking the night off with a Happy hour from 6:30pm with the trivia starting at 7:00pm. Raffles and heaps of other fun games will also be played on the night!

The 2016/17 Senior season launch night will be hosted on Thursday 6th October, (after senior training).
All players hopeful of lining up for 1st XI through to 6th XI or Over 40s in Round 1 are expected to attend this traditional evening, where Team Lists for Round 1 will be announced by their respective Captains, and players will be presented with their playing shirt and cap for the season.
Bar will be open and pasta will be available for dinner.

We welcome all Juniors from U10 to U17 to the clubhouse for the 2016/17 Hawks shirt presentation ceremony, where players will be given their playing apparel for the upcoming season.
The junior coaches will be available to discuss any questions you might have and is a great chance to provide feedback and/or even volunteer to help out.
