It is with much excitement that we announce the appointment of a new club coach for the Hawks Cricket Club.
Grant Stanley a well known cricket figure not only on the Gold Coast and parts of Australia, but also parts of the cricketing world, will be heading up our coaching staff this upcoming season.
Grant history with cricket is vast, with him playing cricket for the Essendon Cricket Club for 10 years before coming to the Gold Coast and playing/coaching Helensvale CC (83-85) then heading to Palm Beach CC from 85-1992.

It is our pleasure to formally announce the re-appointment of Jack Lickiss to the position of Hawks 1st grade captain for the 2017/18 season.
A talented keeper-batsman with a very good cricket brain, Jack led our top team well in his first year in the gig last season and by his own admission will improve further with experience now under his belt. The executive committee view him as a key to the club's short and long-term success and had zero hesitation in offering him the role, which he has accepted. As it's now getting a lot colder I thought it was appropriate for another Hawks winter apparel run. The club is selling Hoodys (the same as last year's version) and a new Jacket. (both can be seen in the pics below). The hoody can be with or without full zip upon request. The jacket has a zip and a hood.
Sizes are fairly consistent with your playing shirt size. Yes they can do all sizes including baby and toddler sizes.

On the 25th March 2017, the Hawks commenced Grand Final appearances in both 4th grade against Broadbeach/Robina Cricket Club at Mallawa Sports Oval and in 5th grade against Surfers Paradise Cricket Club at Sir Bruce Small Oval.
4th grade were asked to field and struck second ball of the match, C.Hallett claiming an lbw. BRCC established a decent partnership which took them to 60 runs before the fall of the second wicket. HPPCC grabbed a third wicket to have them 3/66 and anyone’s game. BRCC once again consolidated and another partnership saw them climb to 3/131 before HPPCC proceeded to take…

This annual junior cricket event is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of all the junior players, coaching staff and volunteers from our Club. This includes our two U10s sides, the U11s, U12s, U13s, U15s and U17s.
After the ceremony from 11:00am, we've got a BBQ lunch, Lolly bar and entertainment for children of all ages. It promises to be an exciting Presentation Day! The entertainment has been hired between 1:00pm – 5:00pm and includes a Sunday Session with live band Champagne Jam, a Slip ‘n’ Slide, Photo Booth and Cricket for the Kids on the oval.

The day started well with the skipper winning the toss! Two in row! Anyhow we put Tambo into bat. D.Wade aka Mr Cool took the first wicket with a one handed caught and bowled. All the bowlers were rotated off after a couple of overs due to the extreme heat. S.Beekmeyer bowled five overs 1 for 12 including two maidens. Sexpo bowled 6 overs with 2 for 22.
