The Helensvale Pacific Pines Cricket Club has now had a new cricket picket fence installed around Hession Oval.
The oval now looks fantastic and professional!
The fence is of high quality and covers the entire ground. It can been seen clearly from Discovery Drive in Helensvale as you drive past. From the cricket club house you now can appreciate the beauty of why we play cricket at Helensvale Pacific Pines Cricket Club.
The first game with the new fence is scheduled at the beginning of October when the first ball of the 2016-2017 season is bowled.

The Helensvale Pacific Pines Cricket Club is honoured to receive the Maurie Glasman Umpires Club Award for the 2015/16 season from Cricket Gold Coast Umpires.

JUNIORS PRESENTATION
It's been a fun season and it's time to get down to business with the end of season awards to be handed out to the junior players and teams.
All Junior Hawks Cricketers are required at 11:30 for the end of season presentation awards.

Thanks to the First Aid Shop our cricket club members will be kept safe this cricket season with a $200 Voucher donated to the club that can be used towards first aid equipment for our cricket teams.

Friday 11th of September at 7pm in the Clubhouse; Open Mike chat Coach with Captains and 6-a-side team selection. Open to all, come and hear what's going down this season in your team. Have a shandy or a slushy and watch AusvEng ODI4 on TV.
Saturday 12th of September - Hession Oval 8am for 8.30am start; 6-A-SIDE. $10 includes lunch. Open to U14, U17, Seniors & Masters. Lots of fun. Everyone plays 3 games. Best way to have your first bat and bowl for the summer. Still room for more players. Comment if you'd like to play.

We've had a great response for our juniors this season!

As you would've seen on our Facebook page, this season we have had a great response with our junior numbers growing. This season we will be having a U10, U11, U12, U14 and U17.
We have also had a great response to our Milo In2Cricket and T20Blast programs. All are going to have a great time. Looking forward to seeing it. More on those programs to follow closer to starting dates.

Overseas player announcement
We are very excited to advise the Hawks community that this season’s Overseas Player Scholarship has been offered to and accepted by Eren Ranu from the Springvale CC located in Bilston, just outside Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. Having looked at the map, we can tell you that’s about 2 ½ hours north-west of London. Springvale currently play in the Staffordshire Cricket Championship.
